ASB Training Courses

We have developed asb training courses with modules that are relevant, practical and specific to each agency tackling anti social behaviour. Although service delivery on asb has developed at a local level to meet local needs over the last 10 years, there is still a great disparity in the quality of the work in the world of asb.

We believe that this is because there has been no specifically targeted training for the agencies involved which highlights how partners can work together to use the tools and powers appropriately and to share the resources and cost of taking action.

We have also developed modules for community activists who want to gain more knowledge of the key elements needed to tackle anti social behaviour successfully.

Each module is delivered over the course of a day however we are developing ways to deliver the training in hourly slots to reduce costs. At the moment the modules are delivered in house or we can arrange a venue in your area.

There are going to be changes to asb strategy and to tools and powers with some repeals in the coming months. We will be able to help you to overcome any difficulties you may have with these changes and they will be incorporated into the modules as they commence.

If you have identified a particular training need in your organisation we can offer bespoke training to address this, or we can troubleshoot your team and identify training needs for you. We can also arrange coaching and one to one training if required.

Of course as a nation we are enduring the most difficult of financial times and we are aware that training budgets will probably be the first to be cut. However, investing in quality asb training courses may be more cost effective in the long term by building on the talent that already exists in your team. Its cheaper than recruiting and inducting new staff and is the best way to maintain skills and boost staff morale.
