
Adele has extensive experience in the field of anti social behaviour and was the Specialist Advisor to the Home Office ASB ActionLine throughout the Together and Respect campaigns and latterly the ASB ActionLine. A service provided by the Home Office to support, advise and empower practitioners in the field of asb.
She has also managed the Community Crimefighter ActionLine advising neighbourhood activists at regional events on how best to tackle the asb they were continuing to experience. Adele has a social housing and local authority background with practical experience in managing asb cases.
Adele has trained and advised teams and individuals from a number of agencies such as police, social housing , YOTs and Local Authority to a high standard enabling them to practically implement the tools and powers successfully in real life cases.
Her passion for the subject and enthusiasm for making the subject matter including complex data sharing and legislation easy to understand and use, makes the learning experience enjoyable and fulfilling. Resulting in the wider use of formal and informal tools and powers in communities with entrenched social and cultural problems. Adele also a sat on the judging panel of the Neighbourhood Crime and Justice Community Crimefighter Awards in 2009
Adele says “I passionately believe that the damage to communities from anti social behaviour can be overturned with the correct and specifically targeted training that ASB Training Providers offer. I believe completely and totally that perpetrators can be challenged successfully and that the tools and powers available to all practitioners can be used appropriately and with confidence, lets work together to improve service delivery and positively change perceptions of anti social behaviour, let us intervene at the right time with the right action, let’s reclaim our communities”
Expert ASB practitioners will be joining Adele in delivering the training courses.
